Objective: students will define poverty in their own words
Activity: Poverty PowerPoint, worksheet, and golden ticket activity
Homework: Have a discussion with an adult about how they feel  about poverty. Write a 50 word response that details your opinion and the adult’s opinion on poverty.

• Have you learned anything that changed your mind about the poor?
• Do you agree with the adult’s opinions on poverty? Or are they different?
