Personal Finance: Which College?

We will be working on this part of the project for two days 1/2 Dec

Bellwork: Where do you want to go to college? Why?

Objective: students will compare colleges and define what they have to offer.

Activity: first in the classroom and then in the computer lab today (1/2 Dec)! Students will use the internet to fill out the "College Worksheet" in their Personal Finance Folder (please see the PowerPoint from 24 Nov for more details).

Homework: complete the "College Education log" tonight:
Please interview a parent/guardian/adult about the colleges that you are interested in attending once you graduate. Talk especially about your plans on HOW you will pay for the education. Write a 100 word response here in which you detail the conversation and share your ideas about paying for college as well as the parent/guardian/adult’s response to your ideas.
